Web Services to Expedite the Exchange of Key Inspection Data

Vancouver, B.C. Canada (Mar 15th, 2010) – Navarik, a global leader in cargo inspection management software for petroleum trade operations, announced today the Navarik Certified Inspection Partner Program. This exciting new initiative between Navarik and inspection companies will streamline the receipt of nomination details and simplify the submission of inspection results, invoices and time logs. Inspection companies that participate in the program are able to use the Navarik Inspection Web Services™ to automatically exchange key inspection data – delivering faster inspection results and improving data accuracy by eliminating the need for dual entry of information.

“We are excited to join the Navarik Certified Inspection Partner Program and anticipate that this new web services interface will save our operators considerable time,” said Marcelo Remotti, IT Director of Camin Cargo Control. “As soon as we log the inspection results in our system, the information will be delivered into Navarik Inspection.”

“The value of Navarik Inspection is in the automated collection and reporting of key inspection data,” said Patrick Rooney, CEO of Navarik. “The goal of the new web services for inspection companies is to make it easier for inspection companies to report data with Navarik Inspection and to expedite the delivery of accurate inspection results to Navarik Inspection customers.”

How it works: The Navarik Inspection Web Services API enables inspection companies to electronically import nominated parcels from Navarik Inspection™ into their own internal system. Once inspection work is completed and logged in their internal system, those inspection results – quantity/quality data, time logs, invoices, and any supporting documentation – are automatically submitted to Navarik Inspection. Navarik is not charging any fee for web services usage, but inspection companies will need to map Navarik Inspection reference data to their internal system data.
