Navarik Claims is a service for managing demurrage, freight, and operations expense claims in the energy transportation, physical trading and commercial shipping markets. The service is part of the Navarik Platform - a set of services and solutions for the petroleum trading, energy and shipping industries to collaborate, process, exchange and settle operational data.
Navarik Claims will be used by companies to provide its regional demurrage teams and third parties with a portal to submit demurrage claims and freight/operations expenses. Users can submit all of the supporting documentation for a claim, generate the necessary notifications, view the status of their claims, and negotiate the claim to a conclusion within the portal. A full audit trail is available over the claim life cycle, from submission to negotiation through to final settlement.
