Laytime Report for Navarik Inspection

As part of the continual enhancements to Navarik Inspection, Navarik has added a new report that allows a user to view and compare a vessel or terminals performance for physical operations. The report uses 6 key events to calculate the pumping rate and duration of the laytime events as they occur at a port, or during a lightering operation. Users can compare durations, averages and pumping rates to gain insight into their shipping activities as a whole in order to spot anomalies and identify trends.

Users can compare the laytime durations for an individual vessel at each of the ports it has visited in order to spot trends in vessel laytime, or to identify and rectify terminals that consistently cause excessive laytime, resulting in demurrage claims. The report can also be used to avoid demurrage costs by selecting vessels or negotiating favorable freight rates based on laytime and turnaround performance.
