Navarik VEF™

Navarik VEF™ is a service that centralizes, the collection, validation, and calculation of Vessel Experience Factor (“VEF”) record keeping. This service is the first industry-focused offering to provide a comprehensive repository of the data required to calculate an accurate VEF where customers can review a common set of information. 

As part of the service, Navarik has established VEF guidelines that are available to all participants that outline our aggregation methodologies including: source data collection, anonymity and validation procedures. Navarik uses the market-appropriate methodologies to calculate a VEF and consults with an established VEF Advisory panel to ensure we meet the requirements of market participants and industry best practices.
