Petro-Canada Integrates Navarik Platform with SAP TSW
Tuesday, April 15th, 2008

One of Navarik’s long time customers - Petro-Canada has started a new project with Navarik to integrate our Cargo Watch application with their new installation of SAP Trade Schedulers Workbench (TSW). For the last five years Cargo Watch has provided a full workflow for the marine operations team at Petro-Canada to manage voyages for their supply and trading operations. Cargo Watch allows operators to request, manage and receive third party operations data from agents, owners, inspectors and brokers for each voyage through the entire movement life cycle. Now the movements will come from TSW directly into Cargo Watch and the system will then pass back key settlement information to the TSW system via a standard web service once marine operations has collected the information in real time.

Navarik’s goal is to help our clients around the world collect precise operational data from those in the field doing the work (such as agents and inspectors). Our platforms are used in some of the largest shipping and energy companies in the world to supplement a wide range of back office systems such as SAP, One World, Oracle E-Business Suite, and Dataloy. Our commitment to standards ensures that our clients can use the best technology in the field to collect key data and be confident it will work with their core internal IT investments. To learn more about how our data collection systems can help improve your physical operations movements please contact us.

In The Field
Monday, April 7th, 2008

Over the last few weeks, Navarik has had several team members in Singapore, London and throughout the US, working with an international oil major on the roll out of the new version of Navarik Inspection. This is Navarik’s most complex deployment to date and is covering a range of upstream, trading (crude and refined products) and downstream operations, and will provide a global cargo quality and loss management system. The project has been delivered on time and on budget, and is part of the latest efforts at Navarik in our new operations data platform. In the next few weeks we’ll be posting some regular updates about the new functionality, and how our customers are using it. We also have plans to extend the platform into the claims settlement and demurrage management spaces.

Also, we will be announcing more about the latest customer to the Navarik Platform - one of the largest national oil companies/exporters in the world. This project kicks off in a few weeks and will be an innovative new customer for our operations data platform.

In addition to these new customers, Navarik will be writing about extensive upgrades to our existing systems around the world. 2008 is getting off to a very busy start.
