Shell Opentrax™
Opentrax is a website for Shell fleet staff to obtain information about essential fleet news, open resourcing, HSE, and training issues that affect the Shell fleet.
Authorized users can access crew and vessel itineraries, the latest Safety Management System, and port agent details fed by Shell's other fleet services using a standard web browser.
Shell contracted Navarik to build Opentrax to make important crewing, itinerary, health-safety-environment (HSE), and other information available to fleet staff through an easy-to-use web interface that could be accessed securely by logging in from any Internet-connected computer, either on shore or aboard vessels.
The system makes information for fleet staff much easier to disseminate, simply requirising updates to the Opentrax database, fed by Shell's other fleet services, in order to be available instantaneously to Shell users anywhere around the world.
